Major Achievements In 2012 Brady ELLISON dominated the Shanghai World Cup in April. He won the individual gold easily 6-0 against Dmytro HRACHOV (UKR), and led his team to the gold medal against France. With his finish, ELLISON became the first archer to win the four majors , taking the gold medal in each of the four locations hosting a World Cup stage: Shanghai, Porec, Antalya and Ogden.

The list of ELLISON s previous honours and achievements is impressive. In 2010 he won the World Cup Stage 1 in Porec in individual and mixed team. At home in Ogden for Stage 3, he won gold in the team event. Qualified 1st for the World Cup Final in Edinburgh, he won the competition to become the 2010 World Cup winner. At the time he also won the Longines Prize for Precision as the recurve male athlete shooting the most 10s during the season.

In 2011 ELLISON became the first recurve male archer to win three consecutive World Cup stages (Porec, Antalya and Ogden); the first recurve male archer to win all three gold medals (individual, team and mixed team) at a World Cup event; and the first recurve archer to win two consecutive World Cup Final gold medals (Edinburgh and Istanbul); he won a gold medal at the London Olympic Test Event, beating the top archer from Korea IM Dong Hyun; he concluded the year 2011 with individual and team gold medals at the Pan American Games. At the World Archery Championships in Turin, the American earned only the individual bronze medal.

The No. 1-ranked male recurve archer in the world, ELLISON certainly is on target for more good things to come in 2012.
